I was looking to buy a Agri Fab tow lawn roller for my Scag tiger cub (26hp) don't know which one to get. These are all water filled (400lbs.-550-640-910)
The heavier the better but don't want to break something. This will be used to level new installed yards. Any thoughts?

Scag says or said when I bought my 26hp 2006 Wildcat, a 250lb towing limit.

If your going to be rolling lawns go with the 48" 550lb any lighter and it won't do much good and any heavier and you may damage a lawn. I roll lawns in spring at customers request but use a large garden tractor to pull the roller, not sure about using a Z.

Beware...
check with your dealer and the manufacturer of your mower!!! If the roller exceeds the recommended capacity, you will have major problems trying to get your warranty honored. The biggest problem you would encounter when towing a heavy load behind your mower would be with your hydro pumps and wheel motors.

Coincidentally, I was at a technical school today. We dismantled some new pumps and some broken ones... then discussing them. When it's disassembled, it's easy to tell if the pump has been working harder than it should. The pistons inside the pump will show excessive wear and heat damage....dead give away = you pay a LOT of money for repair.

Just be careful and use your best judgement. ;-)
