The place that does my lettering is just great and they use a little round tool to press the vinyl right over the rivets and seal it on. Works excellent and just looks great!
Yea love the leaf loader! works wonders, pain to back up tho cause u cant see it but its great, need another one! Thanks everyone

Sweet equipment! What kind of bed is on the Freightliner?
srl28
01-11-2008, 07:51 AM
Thanks! The bed is a 12ft Grain/landscape/mulch body with 2 swing out doors in the back and 42" sides. Best body IMO for mulch and brush and leaves. Actually holds stone and soil very well as well.

Nice equipment! Thats a freighliner FL50 right? Also, what brand is the leaf loader and where did you get it from?
srl28
01-11-2008, 04:21 PM
Got the leaf loader used actually. It is an ODB (old dominion brush company). They make the leaf vacs for almost every municipality that uses one.
Yea its a Fl50 with a CAT 3126 in it. Great truck great engine, cant say enough good things about either one!! Very Happy with it
The Kubota is a b7800, 30hp hydrostatic trans, quick attach for the bucket and mid and rear pto. May sell it, pm me with an offer, need to get something larger. has about 50 hours on it!! We use it, and another similar machine for seeding and grading jobs, mulch, etc...

I am your man then Well I will be honest with you I have only ever had 1 accident and it was deemed NOT my fault a Tractor Trailor turned his cab into my Directv Van and the Piscataway Police Department said it wasnt my fault that the other driver was at fault that was a year ago and that was the only accident I have had my main dump truck driving experience was when I was working a Roy Bischoff in Stillwater I was delievering masonry supplies and horse feed in the mason dump and I DO NOT beat on other peoples equipment I treat it as if its my own and evn with the Directv Van and the mason Dump I would do normal fluid check ups and etc so I am very trustworthy and have the clean License

Thanks for the info! I went on to their website and got some more details. Saw that it was a belt driven unit and was curious, under heavy loads of wet leaves, do the belts ever slip on them? Have you had to adjust them at all? Any comments on its performance?
srl28
01-13-2008, 12:22 AM
Nope, never adjusted them at all, great lubrication points on the machine, zerks all over the place, easy to get to everything. Hour meter reminds you of maintenance intervals never bogs down really at all. only negative and its really our fault is how when the intake hose wraps around the machine in "transport mode" it develops kinks and after a while of use, these kinks help develop clogs. Just gotta stretch the tube out and the sheer suction of the machine clears the clogs. Never had a single problem with the machine its great!
