It is an addition, I am slowly but surely growing so I purchased it last month.

The body is by the American body company ABC, the ribs are steel but the floor and sides are made of a composite material. It makes the bed about 7-800lbs lighter, it won't rust and its super strong a sledge won't come even close to breaking it.

Yes it's a side door, its great for loading up debris or whatever when the trailer is on, also it serves as an easy access for mulch or stone. I put the wheel barrows above the cab, that floor is also composite wih d-rings so the barrows can be bungeed down. Thats a 12' body, installed it was 9800 or so

No its not 4x4, no sense it has such low torque, it plows like a beast and goes through thick mud no problem, I had to load up mulch and the yard was soaked and deep with mud and it sailed right through no problem.

Do they make a all steel body as well? Our fleet is aging and its time to replace some of it.

Yes here is a link http://www.abctruck.com/products/chassis/stake/RAL.asp?. Remember an all steel body will weight 8-1600lbs more depending on the size, lighter body equals better gas mileage and greater load capacity. They do have a good warranty also.
I purchased the chassis from Kennedy ford in Pennsylvania, and had them upfit the body with the ABC company. hands down that composite body is the best fit for my company. I just looked at your profile JR, Kennedy ford is right down the street from you I believe in feasterville
