My existing logo is on top. What I was thinking of doing is changing the font to the one seen on the 2009 F150 "Platinum" Edition. What I also could do is make the bottom cursive and have the top in the F150 font. What do you think?

Definately go with the one from the truck, it's more legible. Being able to see and read your name is critical. I see tons of guys with these great trucks and you can't read their names worth a damn. By the way, That's a great name!

I agree, make it bold and not cursive. WAY easier to read and will look clear and crisp. Let us see it when your done! Great name too by the way, I like it!

Sorry.
I think it will be easier to read with the new font. Will look better too. Not that your current logo looks bad.

The two fonts on your current logo do not go together well. With the newer style, you can do the whole thing in that style.

Newer one looks more masculine, compared to cursive, looks like a hair salon or nail place.

GO FOR IT!!!

Do you have any examples of these logo's? I guess its because I'm from Canada, but I've never heard of these companies.

Yes I really like the other way alot better, or I should say with the new ford lettering.

Yeah, I'm leaning to the ford font. Do you guys think I should do the whole thing in that font (LC & L included)? I was thinking of underlining it in dark green or putting an oval over it.... not sure yet. I've gotta play around with it to get it right.

Great start with logo! I can help you out with designs any font any pictures. I have design software. I can also make decals any size and magnets to advertise on your truck or anywhere. I can do it for much cheaper than you would pay any sign shop. also for advertising I can make Refridgerator magnets that you can hand out to customers. Let me know!

here is some stuff to look at...im no designer or anything lol. i just used AAA Logo Design fo make these real quick...its very limited what you can do with the software, so i would recommend going to someone who knows what they are doing. but this can give you an idea at least to see if you like the idea.

let me know if you want to see any changes then ill post them up for you

theres only a certain number of fonts i can choose from so i cant get the exact font found on the truck, but these are as close as i can get

Hmmm. I like #2. I'll mess around with a design program soon to try and get my final logo set.

you can find the program that i used here: www.aaa-logo.com

its only like $50, but like i said it is limited to what you can do...there is clip art and a bunch of fonts...in the end i just went with someone to design my logo for me, this way you can also get all of the formats that are needed to make t-shirts, web pages, etc.

I like the last Platinum the best because it's the easiest to read. It doesn't confuse the I and the T with the serifs hanging off the I.

But we do have google.
