Re-Locating Your Business

Has anybody re-located their lawn business to another state or quite a distance from where it started and had success? If so what were the pros and cons?

Illinois has a program called small business setaside. They only offer contracts to Illinois based businesses. I'm currently based in Missouri, but directly on the Illinois border. Is it possible (legally) to base my business in Illinois for the purpose of bidding on these small business setaside contracts? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks, Lynn

Lawarence,<p>Thought maybe some day I would like to return to my home town. Economics not as good where I live now but there are still quiet a few people mowing there. Bottom line is my wife and I being back around our families.<p>
