my new truck on her maiden plowing voyage last month with only about 600 miles. i had to listen to my buddie for days, "i cant believe your going to beat a brand new truck like that." its a work truck
2nd pic is the best pic of my tailer, i need a digital camera. the building in the background is our cabin on a lake we bought this summer in Mass. its a glorified shed on blocks with plumbing. ill stick more pics of it on too.

if you look closely you can see the frost heaved the footing up on the porch. they werent deep enough. i dug around one, it mushrooms out towards the top, down only about 18". if you notice the nice water problem, i had to dig a drain up the right side, between teh house and shed/garage and across the back yard, about 200' worth and about 44" deep in the back yard. no more water. put a driveway in too. these are "moving in day pics. done ALOT of work since then in May 07'

funny thing, i dont hunt, and havent fished in years. im more the go fast type. skiing, tubing, boating, and off course, floating around with the cooler and a boat load of friends. i do want to start fishing again. the neighbors are all great, we take turns on eachothers boats. my Sea-Doo little jet boat is sweet, but riding in a 22' Sea-Ray is real style, even in a 100 acre lake. never thought id like pontoons, but they definately have a purpose.

oh yeah, they have ice racing(quads) if the ice ever freezes, and lots of snowmobile trails. im still waiting for my ok on the sleds

shes a fixer upper alright, we already had the $10k septic done, i had to jack the whole cabin up, next year i get to put all new pillers under it and re-level it, i put a few hundred feet curtain drain in (HAD a huge drainage problem), frost heaved the porch, rear patio slab, and front of garage footings. gutted the bathroom and kitchen, almost done. simply fixed the main room and upstairs for the time being. those pics were from the day we closed. its changed alot since then, just cutting the trees off the porch opened it up alot.

Nice place you got there, is it a condo type area where you have to pay a small amount per year? Im looking at a place like that up here in NH lakes and it's only like $1,200 a year for maintenance(taxes) The camp was like 120,000 with boat mooring. Looks the same as yours. Good luck with it, your son Im sure really will love it as well.

Your smoke detector should be mounted higher and the CO alarm should be lower.... Nice place though.

funny, that is where the fire marshall put them, in MA, you must have those and numbers next to the front door to close, this place had none, so the FM through those up. they have already been moved since those photos. CO and smoke upstairs, smoke down stairs too. no i just need to remember to change the batteries

Is that a magnet on that enclosed?

no, its a large sticker, they had to "shrink wrap" each of the many rivets when puting it on
