Not long ago there was a thread concerning using Glyphosate at lower temps. I'll be dogged if I can find it now though. Can someone with better memory, search skills or just smarts help me out please?

I'm trying to decide if it's worthwhile to spray beds next week with temps in the mid-40s to 50s.

Thank you.

Yea, just want to make sure the plants are actively (or slowly) growing!

If they're green, you're good to go..

Actually, I had partial kill on dormant bermuda last year... so maybe even if they're not green! Doh!

Actually, Dr Fred Yelverton gave a talk at a January Michigan turf meeting. He found poor control using Roundup on tall fescue at temperatures below 50--otherwise control was good. Look at the excellent website www. turffiles.ncsu.edu. Look under extension, "Presentations" to view all the slides.
Here--I think--is the link to the slide of experimental results comparing temperature and Roundup effectiveness.
