Below is one example of the indirect effect h2b has on the economy . The actual amounts may be different but still it’s not exactly chump change.

Approximate Ohio dealers:
200 Gm dealerships
200 Ford dealerships
120 Dodge dealerships
Large landscape firms buy on average 5 new trucks a year
Average price of truck is $35,000.00
$35,000.00 X 5 trucks= $175,000.00
Following is based on 100 landscape firms annually!

$17,500,000.00 in sales LOST
$ 1,000,000.00 in sales tax LOST
$ 3,500,000.00 in parts and service sales LOST

It's not like demand for lawn and landscape services disappears with the foreign workers.

I don't get it.... Show us a correlation of landscape firms that hire H2B workers and those large landscape firms that can no longer afford to buy their average of 5 trucks a year, and there may be grounds for some sort of argument. But as this is written, it is just irrelevant rhetorical gibberish. One has nothing to do with the other.
