Are you trying to ask how to keep deer from eating plants that you do not want them to eat?

Try to learn some english before hopping the border. :dancing:
(The dancing man means thats a joke, before I start a war)

Dogs and electric fences also work. Though I had a client who had installed an electric fence around their back yard, a few years back, somehow a big buck got inside and couldn't figure out how to get out. They were woken up at 3am to the sounds of a scared confused buck tearing their little back yard to pieces.:laugh:

Isn't there a way to get the same result without the bottle?:nono:

Oh dear, I think you may have given one too many estimates today. Here, take two of these and straight to bed and sleep over it good and tight, it should clear right up but if it persists feel free to stop by again in the morning.

Buy a length of chicken wire, cut it so that there are little wires sticking up, then put it in the ground all throughout the beds...

Sometimes it is easier to change plants to those that deer won't touch

I don't know if you require permits or whatever in the states but in Ontario, Canada we do not and apearantly you can use MILORGANITE 6-2-0 Fertilizer manufactured in Milwaukee, WI. It is organic and made from "various microbes used to digest sewage sludge". There is research that says that this fertilizer will keep deer away. I have never tried this but who knows.

i have found that for bigger animals this water sprayer works best. you can get it from www.northerntool.com item #168572 with shipping $60.

Havahart Spray Away Motion Sprinkler — Protects 1000 Sq. Ft.

Electronic valve releases three seconds of water from an attached garden hose. Water sprays up to 35ft. Adjustable sensitivity detector and random spray pattern to prevent animals from growing accustomed to the sprayer. Has a 180 degree front sweep with infra-red motion detection.

I can tell you up here deer are a real problem. during the winter you will see people using horse fence around trees and shrubs and this is about as good as it will get I know their are a lot of home remedies but none have worked. If you are asked to do ne planting do some research their are plants that deer will not touch.

yeah, if you have a big problem, deer resistant plants are the only way besides defensive measures that are ugly like fences. we had to install fences around some trees at a property that was a thoroughfare for deer to stop the rutting and killing of some new plantings. everything was great for two years till she got tired of looking at the fences and tore them down(within tow weeks the deer ripped every branch off the young trees!!!)

i have used a product called liquid fence for deer and rabbits before but not there where deer are so prevelant, but did work on lower traffic areas of deer

i think what he was try to say was

"How to Deter Animals from plants?"

but all this deer info is probably helpful, because a deer is an animal.

can the OP be more specific as to what animal it is trying to keep away from plants if it isnt deer that he is worried about?
