23 hp kaw heavy duty air cleaner?

I have a 23hp kaw on my cub and have the standard air filter with the foam arount it. Is there a benefit to changing to the H.D. canister style?

I have the 23 hp Kolher. It came stock with the standard air filter. " about the same one your talking about" My dealer had one of the canister type siting around. I got it for 50.00, and it made all the diffreance in the world.
