hi, i was wondering what the best setup would be for fall leaves. I have a 61 inch husqvarna rider and the original blades on it now arnt mulchers or anything. i want to mulch up the leaves more and here people talking about doubles and stuff. What is that? Can i just go out and buy gator blades and leave the shutte open? What works best guys? i am open to any ideas.. I also have a collection system with a 6 horse, and seems to fill up quick, perhaps cause the leaves are not getting mulched before they go in? Thanks for the help. JEff

Although there are tons of threads about the whole doubles thing, this thread would probably best answer your question "how do you rig doubles".

with a bagging system, run one gator blade by the entrance to the chute of the bagger.
dry ,dusty standard on bottom an gator on top.less dusty on my machine
soppy weather, mulcher and gator.gives enough suction to dig up th wet leaves and minceum up pretty good.
i really havnt tried double gators yet ,so u might try that
