Does anyone have any experience with the 47" rotary broom made by Rad Industries. It is made to fit on Exmarks and Scags. It has an 18" tall polypropylene brush. Could be useful for dethaching, cleaning up lawns, sticks, parking lots. I have seen a broom on a kubota that did a great job dethatching and cleaning trash, cig butts etc.

those brooms are really nice. ive never seen one on a walk behind mower or attached to one, but i see all the guys using the whole unit. meaning, the company BCS, Ariens, or sweepster models. they look like they work really good, and im considering one for the spring.

dylan, I have a 6' broom on a Ransomes and use it to remove gravel from lawns in Spring. I also use it to clean the stones off the gravel road in front of my house so the kids can roller blade.
I have used it for cleanups in the Springs from snow removal, everything from gravel, branches, garbage and even a picnic table that got put thru a blower. Lots of people use them for dethatching in the Spring. Of course I bought mine at an Auction and made the attachment to mount it on the Ransomes.

Power brooms are great for spring clean-ups. Watch out what you buy, they are not created equal. I would recomend Sweepster or Salsco. I have an MB that I had to modify the handle bars to make it usable on grass. There are several brands that make brushes to fit mowers, tractors and other power units.
