Every manufacturer has problems.
I would like too hear what problems the Takeuchi is having.
It is good information for everyone.
I demoed a 305 that was a 2005 and it was not very impressive.
Multiple things in the cab were broke and it was pathetic power wise for a 6 ton machine.
The Takeuchi TB145 was light years ahead of it power wise.
We are smitten with rock hard red Clay and it was the only 5-6 ton machine that would pull a 3 foot bucket here.

They're all right! So they sell you a $60K machine which you're back and forth on, and then get you to try out their new series skid steer thinking that you'll see all the updates compared to the Bobcats and voila, another potential sale! Just giving you a hard time, but I wouldn't let that be the deciding factor. Chances are, they would probably give you that skid for a week anyway, seeing that you own several pieces of equipment. Smart sales tactics though.

That's a hell of a deal that CAT you is giving you, even if you don't like the 272C, you still get a free machine to make money with for 2 weeks! My brother does that all the time here!

Milk your Cat guy any chance you have!! Cat dealerships have lots of money set aside for "free rentals" on customers who are 50/50 on buying or just browsing.

A 232B2, same chassis as the 257 MTL, but it's the rubber tire version.

Tell that to Western States CAT. Apparently they use their rental money on other things.

We got an entire month of free rental on a 303CR while we waited for ours to be delivered. Good thing, because I had that machine strapped the entire time we had it. Money in the bank!

I had a loaner 304 for almost a year:hammerhead:...that's a long story:cry:

I think your 304 was stranded on the same Island as "Wilson". Some South African tribe that is currently wearing a bizarre and seemingly meaning less free t-shirt likely still talks about the "little digger" that washed up on the beach one day last year.

Probably closer to the truth than the song and dance I got;)

Yup, only difference is 2" of extra cab height and 6" of length, Cat's are always a bit longer than everyone else, and like 50 pounds less ROC.
