How much N do most of you put down per application? Seems like most bags of fert are based on 1 lbs/1000 sq ft, just wondering if that's what most are doing. thanks

About .5 lb ( R1 & R2)of N in spring and 1 to 1.5 (R4 & R5)in the fall

One pound--but less when using liquid to reduce the chance of fertilizer burn. I use .6 pound in hot weather.

this will be a good question in the near future. states and counties are passing new laws restricting fert usage and application rates and time. some will allow only 1 lb total per app with .7 of quick release.with a total per year we might have get creative
