i believe eric has it on one of his, from what i have heard the people that have it really like it, well worth the money. when i get some bigger mowers flexdeck will definitly be on the trailer.

yes mine saved a lot of trimming time and a lot of blade sharpening time. I would mow all the rough terrain with the flex dek so I wouldn't dull the main decks blades. You can't beat it for mowing under pine tress neither.

hows it do on rough terrain? never thought about that

it is heavy enough that it goes on about its business, it may jump a little on really rough terrain but I've ran mine through everything. I forgot to mention it does on curbs. I drop mine over the edge and go, more trimming time saved.

I have one and I like it a lot. It's handier than a pocket on a shirt. ;)

Eric, how does it affect the stripe? Is it easy to keep the smae height of cut,as the main deck, how much time has it saved you overall.I am most concerned with the stripe looking good, this is very important here.

How does it stripe with the deck down or do you use it on the dixie for trim work only. Also if you do leave it down how is the cut qaulity of the grass the flex deck cuts. Finally, does it bog down the mower at all.

Since I am an Administrator/Moderator here, I am not allowed to say much about my mowers any more. I guess I shouldn't of even said I had one. :(

Sorry :(

Since you shouldn't say much about it, how long would you not say you've had one?

Can you add info to your web site about the Flex-Deck?????

I realize Eric can't say much, but since I pay for a forum and banner I will only say one thing and that is that if you ever mow with the flex-deck, you will never go back. It will spoil your trimming and contour mowing concepts to the point you will, after about 10 hrs. think it is normal,, but the problem is it is not normal; This Thing is Extrodinary and Revolutionary. Thanks Brad

Don't the Dixie Chopper flex decks cost around $1700? Maybe they will hit ebay one day.

Did I miss something? How come you aren't allowed to talk about your equipment anymore?

No, you didn't miss anything, Lawnsite is getting bigger and things have changed a bit.

Lawnworks: Their brochure says $1495
