I'm looking for a 1 Ton Dump Truck and can't seem to find a decent one. If anyone has one for sale, or stumbles across one, let me know. Preferably not too far from Illinois. The following is what i'm looking for:

White in color
Preferably GM or Dodge, only Ford that I would consider is a 99-02 7.3 Diesel
8'-10' Dump Body
4x4
Gas or diesel, doesn't matter
Automatic
No central hydro's
Under $16K

Thanks for any help guys!

As far as I know it plows pretty well with the weight of the dump body and if you add a salt spreader. I know he used to plow with it but decided to get out of the plowing and now only does his own drive If you want to talk to him about it his number is 815-483-6846 his name is larry.

You should consider something with a bigger GVWR...a one-ton can't carry that much once you've subtracted that actual total vehicle weight, empty. I would strongly consider a 450 or 550 truck.

I strongly agree.

Yeah I would like a 4500 if I could find one for the right price. But if I do that, I would probably wait till next year. If I could get a GM 4500/5500, I would like 4x4 so I could put a wing on the side for snowplowing. But time will tell!

Hey all, I'm looking for a truck with a dump bed as well, at least a 1 ton. I've been looking at F-350, 450, and the Chevy 3500 series but nothing has been in my price range. I'm a start up landscape company based in Champaign, IL and don't have the capital yet. I've been trying to figure out a good way to get a small business loan but being a start up it's difficult. Can anyone help?

The trucks are out there but it is pay to play when it comes to trucks.

I got loans through a Credit Union for my trucks.
