year of this Kohler??

I need to ask yet another question: Does anyone know the year of this CV25S Kohler engine? (SPEC- 551310) (S.N. 2626212817) I assume this falls into year they seem to have head gasket trouble..but would like to know year of this for future reference. thanks again Gene

It's a 1996, And if it has head bolts now use the new head bolts not the studs.
