These are my new envelopes for a little wave of specific mailings im doing to some commercial properties.

I could not help but to post them because they are so funny

I didnt think they would turn out so good. The pic does not show how nice they look but its really vivd green grass.

I think it it hilarious looking. I wish I could see peoples faces when they get them.

I hope to at least get some brownie points for them, haha

Man, i love the idea.

Really gets your attention, and i think it will stick out in many's minds who see it..

However ... why is the grass in such bad shape? Brown, pushed-over, and looking like it got cut with a butter knife

Lol, it was just a picture i scavenged from the internet.

Whoever cut the grass really needs to sharpen thier blades

I figured most people would not really notice since they arent in this industry so i took a chance. it was the best photo i found for what i wanted to use it for. On the envelope, the overwhelming green color over powers the bad parts of the grass.

Scavenged?

Did you get permission from the copyright owner?

I was going to reply pretty nasty until I saw that you are a commercial photographer. why you have to know and why you have to ask me if i got permission on a public forum is rediculous though. Dont try to start something. if you were truly that concerned try PMing me. you posted that only to try and stir the pot. I got the photo from a flickr member that allows you to copy his images. but thanks for making sure.:hammerhead::usflag:

Simmer Down!

What did you expect when you typed... ”Lol, it was just a picture i scavenged from the internet.” ?

Lots of members of this forum openly admit to ignoring and stealing copyright photography.

Happy to see you are a true Class act and OBEY © LAW !

I was calm.

no issues, you just seem like you were lookin to argue. i hate that about forums.

No harm done

Envelopes are great for direct mail. Should increase your ROI 2/1. My suggestion is to fork out the extra "dough" for first-class mail. Bulk mail has a lower delivery rate and a far lower rate of actual viewers. Bulk mail has no "value" to the guys in the post office.

Good luck with your campaign!
