Casey that was "F%^$%#@ leaf dust".
I dont mind the leaf dust so much because it means that we have been graced with the opportunity to work with dry leaves. I would much rather eat a liitle dust then try to cut/vac wet leaves.
That really sucks when there is a sopping wet mixture your trying to remove from clients properties and you and all your equipment are soaked thru and frozen or freezing -LOL!!!

I disagree, I just told my lawncre foeman today that I wanted to switch w/ him and fertilize just to avoid the dust. Ieven told him that I would gladly complain about 3 or4 days of wet and heavy leaves just to not have hard dried up dirt boogers at th end of the day. I'm tired of buying stock in Q-tip!!

yea, everyone has to love the leaf dust in the nose, ears , and can't forget eyes. i would have to say eyes are the best though, customers look at you like your crying but its because of the dust.

Leaf dust means I'm working. Mask, goggles, ear plugs and hat keeps me working thru the dust.

I get covered in all kinda of leaf dust sitting in an a/c truck with a vac on back.
OOOPS I mean the truck gets covered in dust while I sit in it nice and clean.
On the mower I wear just sun glasses. Don't get much dust on me.

I know its not as profitable as snow but I have not seen a guy yet that can blow or shovel in shorts and a tee shirt for a whole day and then sit on his picnic table by the pool and sip a cool beer after the work is done.
Bears hibernate in the winter but come spring they are ready for action. I kinda like that life. ;)
ive breathed enough leaf dust to mulch my garden:) so its
gettin old here too. but at least im still workin.hope they keep fallin til christmas.
