since a lot of the knowledge seems to hang out in this area check out this link for me and tell me what you think of the two grapples in post #88. im going to buy one of them and am trying to decide.

I like the Talon model better, looks like it's longer and will be able to pry up tough roots better.

i think i agree, the bradco is more $$$$ but it is better because deere can finance it for me.

I have a Quick Attach grapple, the 'quick claw'. Have done some land clearing and they hold up well. Quick Attach was great to buy from, real friendly.

i thought about the quick claw but i like how the tines on the eagle claw curl under more to pic up fire wood and i like the replaceable teeth

The talon would be eaiser to carry stuff and the teeth are nice. I back drag with the top clamp for the small stuff alot but branches do fall out sometimes.

How do those tracks work on your Deere? They resemble a ASV or Cat MTL type track. I have seen them on some Bobcats but have never ran one. Do they do better for ride or traction? How are they holding up as far as wear is concerned?
