Where do you guys put your enclosed trailers? I'm buying a 6' x 14' that I can lock up but it won't fit in my garage...it's too tall. Anybody put it in a storage unit?

I keep mine in my front yard attached to the back of my truck.

I guess it depends where you live. I keep mine at the end of my driveway. Its out of the sun so it won't look faded.

A lot of storage facilities have outdoor lots you can rent. Might cost you between 35-50 bucks a month.

Well, mine is enclosed... But I am keeping it at a business I frequent, behind a chain link fence in an industrial park. This way I can leave the mowers on it(locked), and just pull the trimmers off. Its good to have good working relationships with ppl.

I got a 6 x 14 Pace. Luckily my dad runs a automotive repair shop, 4 bays, 20 ft ceilings so when i come in during the evenings whichever bay isnt occupied by a car is where my bucket of bolts stays.

I keep mine outside, locked with deadbolt cutter proof pad locks and a tongue lock @ a friends construction co.

I keep mine at a farm that a distant cousin owns. I got real lucky to be able to store it there for free. I have lock on the hitch and the tires are all locked together with cable locks.

I leave mine in the front yard, hooked to the truck, with the keys in the ignition.

I live so far in the sticks that if someone actually drove far enough to find it, I guess that's their reward.

nope, he's right outside storage goes for 30 to 50 per month for a 10x20 spot. I used to pay 40 per month , but now I have a 1000 sq ft shop with 12 ft doors !!! :clapping:

I rented a 12x20 garage with electric, and a few out door spaces for my equipment from a storage yard. I ended up cutting the grass for them, for the same as my rent....

we keep all our trailers in our locked fenced and barbed wire fence lot behind our shop, conveniently next to a well lit patrolled prison. pretty sweet, but before taht we locked them up tight adn drove them home with the truck.

Check out your local newspaper, I know around here there are always people advertising for outside secure storage.

ha yeah thats great! At my parents house is just like that, rural Ottertail county. I always leave my keys in the ignition there, dirt bikes leaning on trees just 25 yds off the road, whatever its no worries, because its a place you can still trust your neighbors. Now that I live in fargo, even though I leave my keys in the ignition, I at least lock the doors. I just keep the remote in my pocket all the time, so I can leave the keys in the ignition.

24' enclosed. I pay $35 month to store it in a well secured lot. I think its worth it. Sometimes I park it right infront of my house. My neighbors love looking at it.
