Naming question

I have a LLC set up now and wanted to change my name alittle bit. Basically just adding to it. Is there anything I need to do to change this or just still file under my original name and use the new name on shirts and invoices.

Here in Virginia I had to file a form with the State Corporation Commission to change the name of my company. It might have cost about $10. Your other option is to file a DBA.

What and where do you need to file the DBA?

DBA stands for Doing Business As. Here in Virginia you file the form at the county courthouse.

If it's NO bid change just start calling your self that.....

I get verations on my name all the time and even the banks know this, they cash checks with no problem,

But I would do a search to make sure I'm NOT enfrindgeing.
