Epic, you like those standers. I am thinking of changing to those, and I have found a good deal on a few of them in Illionis with 52" and 60" decks.

I do, I like them alot. I've been running them for a few years now. Before that I had the Great Dane Surfers, these are much better. I own both the the 60" and 52" decks. I'm looking at also buying 36" deck Stander as well.

Epic
Is everyride made by dane or surfer? I can get demos for $1500. Know anyone that is for real selling accounts or there business?

LawnGuy73

Everide is basically Dane, and all I will say is that you get what you pay for. Second, no I do not. I wouldn't mind adding a few accounts this summer as well. The only ones that I know of right now are the ones listed on Craigslist and those are all pretty much worthless.

I know what you are saying on the price. A dealer out of state went under so the bank is getting them sold at pennies on the dollar. Did you tal to that guy on craigs list out of shakopee for 20000 with the 4 scags and 15 customers? Snow switch is backon for the moment.

LawnGuy73

I just talked to him yesterday, he want $10,000 for thr equipment and $10,000 for the customer contacts. But he won't guarntee that they will sign up, and they aren't under contract.... So what in the hell am I paying for?

Yes see taht is all that that craigs list is about. It is messed up. Even Calhoun companies and oib does not have anything. They might start to come up seeing it is March. How many accounts do you have?

been on plowsite most of the winter, decided to come over hear and check the action. Good thing I found some metro guys in hear.

Very interesting post by 1080p, most likely bs though.

I've been in the industry for sometime now, suprised i didn't find this site sooner, and know people hear and there.

Just by reading the posts on this thread it looks like people are looking for accounts, actually you are always looking for accounts but I think you know what I mean.

Considering the company you named on this thread and where Epic is located my information tells me you will not have any problem picking up accounts with the changes in companies, buyout, sellouts, and key personal leaving those companies. All of those can make new properties to pop on the market.

tell you what, without disclosing to much info on a public forum here is part of what i know....
If you by chance know which properties/management companies do business with T^&Lands#$%^ and Sm%^&*# Outd**$ go after it, because when the information gets to these properties/management companies they will be looking elsewhere

Are you talking TPC buying out Smythe's, and if so what does it matter? Why would the property management companies care, its not like the quality of work is going to get worse or that they are going to put the prices though the roof. They simply bought out a company, it happens every day in this county. Also the stuff that is listed on Craigslist in Shakopee is not Smythe's stuff that I know of.

wouldn't call it simple, property managers might not care, probably don't, but the HOA's do

Again as long as the price and quality stay the same or get better, they aren't going to care.
