Went to my local dealer tested this used Ferris out, then bought it..!
15 Hp Kawasaki V-twin, 48' cut, belt drive, had the dealer put new blades on, new pull cord, then offered $1,300 vs $1,499 he was asking he agreed, now it's mine...

I need to get a sulky or velkie but dealer said, he doesn't recommend either since, belt drive can't handle it...

We run sulkies on our belt drives and have no problem. From the picture it looks like oyu may need to re-align the right idler pully, but that may just be the picture, looks like a great machine and a good price.

Yes, it was a good price ... however, I think your dealer doesn't know what he's talking about, a belt drive can pull a sulky, no problem !! Seems to me like you may need to find a new dealer for service and support.

I have an old JD 36" belt drive, pulls my velky just fine.

As long as your belts are adjusted properly, you can run a velke on a belt drive mower. Looks like a good find!

Yup. Looks well maintained. It shouldn't have any problems with a sulkey.

It looks like there are holes and it might have had a sulkey on it at one time.

I just noticed that the other day.
Called local dealer, a sulky runs $375 for this mower OUCH! have to do some internet shopping...
