Would like to hear what 36" walk behinds are selling for. Looking for a small machine for fenced yards.

Around $3000. Depends on your dealer, but that's what they go for around here. I think Toro's standard 36" belt drive is about the same money.

Quick 36....$2400.00

Quick 36 = Homeowner unit.

Otherwise, most major brands run from about 2900 and up

Here's a though for you. I'll use exmark for example.

If you go with the 32, instead of the 36", it's about a 300 difference and you can be out the door with a bag for about the same price as a 36"

Marek: Are you interested in gear/belt drive or hydro transmission? Gear/belt drive is cheaper. Hydro is much higher, depending on the brand. Exclusion: Quick Better mowers, they come standard with a single hydro pump. Good luck to you.

What makes you think a QUICK is a homeowner unit ? Have you ever used one in the field ?

I'd give a Q36 a look if I was in the market for one...those things have been getting really good reviews here..

Saying a Quick 36 is not a Commercial Mower is the same as saying a GMC Kodiak 4500 Duramax is not a truck. :hammerhead:

Although, we have a steadily growing homeowner base, 80% of our customers are Commercial LCO's.

My John Deere G15 gear drive was $2441

Buy a Quick before you buy a gear drive. No I don't have experience with them but I do have experience with both hydro and gear and hydro is superior to gear and dollar for dollar your money will be better spent with Better Outdoor's Quick products.

Just my opinion but I won't be keeping my belt/gear drive for too many seasons!
