We have it set up so each 3 man crew does 100 yards a week. I was wondering how this sizes up to other companies that do 100+ yards a week.

depends on the size of the propertys. I have 2 three man crews they both do 160
a week.

I am not really sure about sq footage. Some yards take 5-10 min to mow and some of the larger ones take about 45 with a man cutting the front and one in the back.

I'd like to see your crew(s) after it rains for 2.5 days straight

I don't think you can use the word average in lawn care. We average 6 homes a day with a 3 man crew. That will drop to 3-4 per day in the summer.

Have not been on the board that often, and did not find much in a search.

I mow about 25 a day. It all depends on size and the equipment you have.

how effiecnt is a 3 man crew on resid lawns seems like you would have someone standing around waiting for the other guys to finish

Not so. 1 guy cuts front 1 cuts back while one edge and trims. Then 2 blow while 1 spot sprays. No one is ever standing still.
