I'm apparently missing something here, I'm assuming you truly meant what you said about the demo machine "tore up the turf" !! What difference does it make whether a machine is air cooled or liquid cooled, if it tears up the turf why do you want it ?? On the other hand, if you meant it fecetiously, then congratulations on your new machine ... and post pictures ASAP !!

The 27 HP is much better suited for the 61" deck than a 25 HP.

Well the kubota would be diesel and the liquid would be gas is what I think he was implying.....

He said the diesel was to damn heavy so he got a gas powered version instead.

sorry about the typo above, liquid. ProStreet thanks for saying it better than i did. I just couldn't get the words out like i wanted them before. I am extremely ready for cutting season to get here. today it was almost 80 degrees but a storm is moving in and is suppose to make it turn cold again for the rest of the week. Why can't it be summer time all the time!!!!

James @ Alabama Mower Service has two in stock (TT/61inch/29 DFI Kaw) and my name is on one of them. I'm going in Wed. morning to pick it up and let him give me some good maint. tips.

This guy is great, and probably
the best Scag mechanic in
Alabama

I have spoken with tons of folks who know him and have traded with him over the years and swear by his ability to repair mowers and keep his customers equipment operating, Besides his price was without question the best price I received.

Looking forward to see your pictures.
My entire setup will be posted in two weeks.

At least you get snow. Here in MD we normaly get very little snow but also there is no mowing in the winter either so we are SOL.

In a gas engine it would but a 25Hp Diesel is alot stronger....."TORQUE"

Your right, I guess I was speed reading on that one. He ended up with the 27HP anyway.
