Both are demos, and both I can get for around 3k.

Are these ok deals, and if you had to choose, what would you get?

Thanks,

B

Does it seem like a decent deal?

If you don't have gate restraints, the Toro is alot more mower for the same money. The Gravely has a Kawasaki though.

That's the thing, its a better engine, and 80% of my accounts are resi.

I want the better deal though.

If you have resi fences measure them. I use a Toro 36 it fits all mine. I used to use a Xmark 44 it did not fit all. More mower is not always better.

I have a 44 Toro and wish it was a 48 or 52. I would go Toro, mine is a fine mower.

OK, si I decided on the TORO. Now is 3k a good deal on the unit?

I bought a Toro 48" 15hp Kaw v-twin T-bar steering gear drive and Turbo Force deck, brand new last year for $3200. So unless the 44" Toro is a hydro unit the price is to high. Try to get them down around $2500.

Is is a hydro.

If the mower your looking at buying is a hydro drive unit then it may be worth the $3000 price tag. The only downside I can see with this mower would be the engine, Kohlers are good engines but I prefer a V-twin engine for everything except a small 21" or 32". Does the 44" have the turbo force deck or the older SFS deck?

Since they are about the same price the 44'' is a better deal. But if you have gated properties that 36'' would have been the better choice.
