I wouldn't brew tea in direct sunlight. It could increase temps and most microbes don't like sunlight, it kills them (except for phototrophic bacteria). It's recommended you apply tea in the early morning and late afternoon/early evening to avoid the full sunlight. We brew in our shop area with no direct sunlight.
