Hello Everyone,

I have been doing snow removal and landscaping around my neighborhood for some time now. I recently bought a Ford F250 truck with a plow and now I am looking for a trailer to store my 48 inch and 33 inch mower, blowers, rakes, brooms, weedwackers etc. I was wondering if anyone was selling or knows about good dealers in the CT area. Thanks

I'm also interested. I can tell you one thing, dont use trailer depot in Middletown I think it is. Soooo overpriced. Keep your eyes open in the classified section, I've noticed sometimes it's worth the drive if need be.

we just bought an 8 x 14 enclosed trailer today from Limberger Trailers in Ellington. Was $5,900.

You can try these places, all reasonably priced and large inventories.

The trailer depot in middletown is the most expensive for everything, I got a price for a brake-a-way box and they were 3 times more than anywhere else.

I really cant think of any down Stratford Way. There is East Haven
Landscape Supply, but I think that is the Trailer Depot you are referring to?
I think there is a big trailer place in Cheshire but I dont recall the name

enzo, i bought my pace summit enclosed trailer at Connecticut Trailers in Bolton @ Rt6 & RT85 800-597-9440. i was very happy with them. mine was actually "used", guy bought it, drove to FL and back and traded it in on a bigger one. it was spotless and over $1000 off. i think i paid $5400 for my 6.5x18'.

i agree do not go to trailer depot. ive had alot of problems with them trying to have anything warrantied out. they are expensive. i just had a plow put on my new truck there, the blade was old and faded, they took off the valance under the front bumper, didnt put it back on and lost all the bolts, didnt tighten my bumper brackets, plow lights, or plow ears. big disappointment, this is after spending a good 10K in there.

Don't go too small on the enclosed trailer. I would recommend at-least an 8x18 foot trailer. This should allow for your growth over the next year or two. Think what happens when you purchase a Z and you add a bagging unit so you can easily do the fall cleanups. This alone takes up 8 feet of space. You need the 8 foot width so you can hang your blowers etc and still get by the mowers. There are many thread on enclosed trailers on lawnsite, I suggest you find and read them. Your truck should be large enough to pull this size trailer. Make sure the trailer has a heavy duty back ramp - a 1000 lb rated door is not good enough. If you are determined to stay small get a 7 foot wide trailer.
