Should I go ahead soon put down a high nitrogen application on a football field to give it a early green up? Is this a good idea or not? Thanks for any advice.

If your main goal is just an early green up, try using a slow release fertilizer with 5-6% iron (fe) in it. It will give you the early green up without to much growth.

You guys aren't getting much help?? It's supposed to be -10 here tonight, and I'm only 30 miles north of St. Paul.

I figure that when it hits 40 (hopefully on Tuesday, first time since November) that TG/GL will be out putting down the first round of pre-m. :D
