I decided to Build a safety rack to protect my cab because I am always Hauling stuff, plus I think the look cool. It took me and my dad about a day an a half to build. It didn't cost me anything because my dad had the steel tubing and I got some mesh off my Uncle. I took a ton of pictures:

That's pretty dad gum neat. I might consider building one of those for my dodge. I do agree, they make it look a little more aggressive. Nice fab work.

the only bad part is when you accidently sling some mud on the back window......

i had one that was bolted when i did a lot of firewood and it saved me a bunch of windows... that one looks like it can be removed faster... nice job

Couldn't a guy just get up in the bed of the truck at the car wash and get the mud off up close??

You always need a headache rack on a truck I never had a P/U without one.

I like it allot. I have been wanting to build one for my truck for a while. I want to mount some lights on it to shine in the bed and out to the sides of the truck.

Its not hard to clean the back window, I can reach down behind and wipe it

I did most of the welding of the mesh, my dad did all the tube welding

They are definetly worth it, I was thinking about putting two utility lights on top to shine in the bed for when unloading stuff at night
