Poly-Thermal Shield?

I was looking at your Copper Knighjts series tonight.....

"Finish Coat: Poly-Thermal Shield"

What does this mean?

Is this a coating you put on all your copper fixtures, or it just an option, and what does it do?

from what I understand with our copper products is we do not apply any sort of finish to it UNLESS someone orders a fixture for display or sample. Then we may apply this finish which is essentially a clear coat as to protect the copper from weathering due to handleing. I am going to verify this with my PE once he arrives this morning.

Obvioulsy you can also order our copper with powder coat options.
