the first year i was thinking of applying only in the fall. instead of early spring and fall because it costs so much. that way the customer won't be able to complain about the weeds this summer and the cost will be less for the first year, will this work?

I believe the most beneficial time for seeding is in the fall. The fall CGM application would inhibit your ability to overseed

So its a timing thing, I have also been told the best time to apply CGM is in early spring. I personally don't have a lot of experience with it. Although it has been used since 1992 when it was patented for the application
