grasshopper alternator

I have a 96 721D Grasshopper with bad alternator. Without even checking, I know the d ealer will want a fortune for a new one. Does anyone have any website addresses for rebuilt ones for the 721D Kubota engine? I don't know where to turn on this deal. thanks for the help.

you'll probably have to suck it up and pay it, kubota keeps a tight reign on parts where you have to go through there dealer network, have tried to get starters rebuilt by repair shops and had to go back to a kubota dealer for parts.

i've rebuilt a few Kubota alt.'s and starters with great results.

Get it rebuilt. Look in the yellow pages. I had a starter burn up on my 1997 725. I bought a new one at the dealer, something like $230. Then I took the old one and had it rebuilt for $85. Now I have a spare. I've got 2 - 725's.
