HOw many out put a little engine oil in the cylinders though the spark plug hole?I do it every off season pump about 1 or 2 oz.
than pull the start cord several times or if electric start turn the engine over with the fuel valve shut off so it wont crank up to coat th cylinders and pistons

I do that to engines that will sit more than a month,I fire most of my stuff up every 3 weeks in the winter,and let it run 1/2 hr or so.I put stabil in the fuel,run it thru,fog the engine to a stall,with fogger,add a little oil down the spark plug hole,then cover the intake and exhaust to keep the critters out.

Yep, just got done with the big stuff today. Lots of work to put them to sleep.

The 2 cycles get a fogging and a little fogging oil in the cylinder from the plug end too.
