Good luck with yours. Hope they last longer than mine did, which was only 1 week I think. Be sure to keep your truck and the back of the magnet clean.
Looks good though.

ya loks good, but remember to keep the backs clean, like take them off and clean them every week, they will collect little bits of dirt behind and scratch the paint bad, aslo we left them on our dump once when it rain and it froze after, and we could take them off for about 2 or 3 weeks and know they wont come off at-all they are like bonded to the truck, so they are staying on...lol

thought about that after i got these. I'm not sure because they would need to be smaller but was if i could incorperate my services into one for the back then i will. I also might have them do up some magnetic business cards once i create a business card that i am really happy with.

I have just a couple services listed on one side of my tailgate and the company name and number on the other side. Magnetic business cards are a good idea, I use them. People will throw them on the fridge so they dont get shuffled away into a pile of papers and can find your number much easier. I have heard so many times from people that " I lost your card, can I have another?" I started giving out the magnets, no more I lost your card deal

Ok, let me ask you. I have some magnets for my truck and I only use them when I do extra long work. For example, i deweeded and mulched a ladies garden today, or when i cut a yard that is higher than normal. I was told that if I was to have an accident and had those on my truck then I could get in some big trouble with the law. Since im advertising a business on my truck and my truck isnt registered with the dmv and since i dont have a commercial license. Is this true? When I first got them i used them all the time, but then I heard that and I took thm off. Now I only get to use them every once in a while and I feel like I have wasted my money cause when I did use them, I had two new yards in a matter of weeks after putting them on.

In ohio, if you use your vehicle to basically make money then you need commercial license plates on the vehicle. By having lettering, it just denotes the use as to making money and is easy picken for the pricks that want to enforce it. In ohio i heard that if you get caught without commercial tags than you can get fined up to 300 bucks. I myself currently don't have commercial tags because i'm not going to spend 100 dollars for 2 months and then spend another 100 again in june so i'm waiting untill then. It might work differently in your state, ask around on here or search because it has probably been discussed.
