Today was the last day of my landscaping career. But I still want to post stuff.

"Goodbye cruel world ... I'm leaving you today,
goodbye ... goodbye ... goodbye.
Goodbye all you people ... there's nothing you can say
to make me change .. my mind ... Goodbye" -Floyd

No problem here ... I wish I had won the lottery ... but I'm just moving to Florida, going to a school aptly named 'Full Sail' .. getting my recording arts degree and going into the music industry! :)

btw Guido, the mother ship called ... they said we could stay a few extra years since the invasion won't take until that time. So, just lay low until then. :alien:

Good luck in the future stick. Maybe you could write a No.1 song about the board banter here and abroad -LOL!!! Couldnt possibly think of a reason why just because your not still active that you wouldnt have something worth saying.

Hope to see you still around!

Congrats on deciding to go to school! I have a degree in audio engineering myself. If you think lawncare is cut-throat, get ready for a bigger monster. I do not want to discourage you at all, but lets say I hope you have "friends in high places" GOOD LUCK.

I really appreciate all the nice things you guys have said ... I will most certainly still be around here ...

I am really going to miss the lawncutting. I mean, this has been seven years of my life. Seven years filled with good things .. with bad things ... friends and family dying ... babies being born ... family and friends getting married ... playing music ... life changing decisions ............... tragedy.

I'm going to miss working with Scott the most. I'm going to miss seeing the perfection in the completed lawns ... I'm going to miss the compliments from the customers and neighbors ... I'm going to miss when customers come out with an ice cold pop for me on a scorching summer day ... I'm going to miss the ride back to the shop after a long, difficult day (or week) ...

Oh yeah, and I'm certainly going to miss the money .. I mean, 30,000 dollars for one year of school is a helluva lot ... I'm gonna be in debt for a LONNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG time. :)

Things I won't miss ... getting dog poop sprayed on my face ... rain making my weekend nonexistent ... people standing outside while I'm working ... people in my way while I'm working ... irritating neighbors ... hitting my head on stupid tree branches that the people just can't seem to trim themselves .. getting up at 5 am everyday.

Would I do it all over again? If I were eighteen again .. would I follow the same path that I have?

Absolutely.
