Radcliffe College (Harvard University) had a landscape design certification program since the 60's. They recently turned it over to the Arnold Arboretum (also Harvard). This is a couse by course program rather than having to enroll in Harvard. In the ast, they have had some professors from Harvard Graduate School of Design teacing some classes. I'm not sure if that is still the case.

Anothe school of landscape design is The Conway School. It offers a Master's Degree in a fairly short time. It is definitely heavily leaning to the environmental side (native plants, sustainability,....) rather than high aesthetic ornamental work. If that floats your boat.
