How to apply for commercial bids?

Hello. I finally found the site that is very valuable to our business. I said finally because I’ve been looking for this kind of site on the Internet for long time. These forums are great because you guys make it by responding to messages and help each other out. And I mean what I say. In my company we maintain and landscape only residential properties, yet I want to go commercial. So lately I was thinking how do I solicit or find commercial business. If someone can give me a tip I will greatly appreciate. We do business in California Sacramento if it matters.
