Ok, since I never can seem to remember to take a camera with me and get some pics, today it's cloudy and drizzly so I decided it would be a good time to get that done!

Let me know what y'all think! The trailer just got the new paint a few weeks ago, it was grey that matched my old truck, but I decided to just go with white this time, and lots of DOT tape. It's a 20' long trailer, and pretty much full. Mind you I work alone! I have all my bases covered though... 21", 36", 48", and 61". I have the right mower for your lawn!

This is the new tarp I installed today. It's heavy as heck (12oz. canvas tarp). I had one of those mesh "bulldog" tarps on it, but when hauling light fluffy stuff like leaves or dry brown grass (like now) I was loosing about half the load while driving down the road! I'd get to the dump and not have hardly anything left to dump! Drives me nuts to see stuff blowing out like that, rude to other drivers and it also ends up on the trailer and IN all the equipment.

Only problem I see with this tarp is that it's gonig to HOLD water... The other one water went right through it. If this one catches rain it will turn into a pool, and probably too heavy to even move it to drain. I may end up actually poking some holes in it!

I like the setup. The dodge looks sharp with the dump box.

I really like them! They are the 323L models. I like that they are so light and still have pretty good power, the heads are super easy to remove and reload, the bump knob dosn't hang down too far either.

I bought an Echo 230 and took it back after 2 days. Compared to the first Husky it was gutless and just a PITA to run. Bought a 2nd 323L after I got my money back on that thing.

Nice setup. I have always like SRW truck with a flatbed/dump on them. A great rig for hauling grass and lighter debris.

Thanks for all the nice comments so far!

I've been pulling this trailer for about 5 or 6 years now. The truck has been with me for 2 years, and I have my fingers crossed on the dodge transmission. The previous truck was a ford and had basically the same bed set-up. Since I bag 95% of everything that bed gets filled on a daily basis with grass. It's also crazy handy for hauling about anything else. I added the extra foot onto the sides last fall as a "temporary" thing for the leaves. Yes, it's a royal pain to dump over the sides, but the extra capacity is NICE.

You have a nice setup there. You must really be into bagging on all your accounts. Do you charge extra? I always mulch or discharge and make it look bagged.

Everyone bags in this town, I don't see how you couldn't. I've tried mulching and discharging and both make a HUGE mess and require cutting the lawn at least twice to make it look halfway decent. Most of the time there's still too much clippings and it lays on top in windrows. This is mowing weekly and at 3 to 3.5 inches. We don't charge "extra" for bagging, it's just part of the job.

Interesting. In my area we mostly mulch and the results are great. Discharge requires a little extra work to get it looking bagged.

Very nice setup ...

What about painting the trailor to match the truck?

People would crash their vehicles trying to catch a peek at your setup than ... lol

How many accounts do you service ... employee count?

Good luck this season!!

Thought about painting the trailer to match, but really didn't want a purple trailer...

I do about 85 properties a week, and no employees. Just me.

Thanks for the "good luck" From the looks of it, I may need it!

I mostly bag too, but with smaller mowers. how do you emty the walker into the truck?

The MT walker has the dump bins in the hopper, and the MS (36") I use the 2 grey bins to dump into and then toss into the truck.

I actually had to STOP mowing today around 5:00 because the truck was TOO FULL! Anything more I piled on there was just going to end up on the ground. I had walked it down 3 times today too.

The new tarp... What a joke that is. I will be removing it as soon as I get time and putting my "bulldog" tarp back on. That canvas tarp sails so bad when driving it snapped one tarp strap and magically unhooked the other in the back today, driving at about 45mph for like 2 minutes. It's already tearing around the grommets where it's attached to the pipe I have along the back side too. Just too much for it I guess.
