If my spelling sucks it because Im shot right now. I got a new lawn and it about and acre or two and I bought my redmax and was going to buy a walk behind blower but I had short funds. That poor thing ran for about 6 hours straight! And refilled about 2 or three times and I had that thing full throttle most of the time except the flower beds. I used it on the whole lawn!!! At the end of the lawn I had blew leaves about 2 or 3 feet high and blew them it the woods and this thing rocks!! Never bogged and the motor ran mint and didn't hesitate or anything. The arm blew off twice even though I tight the crap out of it its just so strong. It blew the leaves about 20 feet in front of me in a second. There is less walking with this blower even in the flower beds it blows leave about 20 feet straight by 10 feet wide. But of course I went threw the lawn real good and got every leaf and those little baby brown leaves out. Customer said I am the best one so far. He gave me food, lol. I couldn't believe the quality versus the shindy. This thing gets everything event he old leaves in the side of the curb and the water was deep. That was my first Spring cleanup 9 more to go! Need to buy a Little wonder 13 HP this fall.

theres a 7001 blower and an 8000 blower on the RedMax website, no 8001, are you sure yours is an 8001?

I have 4 8001 RM blowers. I had 2 8000's. I'm surprised that RM didn't update their web site in the last year. Now that Husky owns RM they reduced the 2 year warranty. They probably won't update the web site, because they're slack at Husky.

The dealer where I bought my dixie from sells redmax. They keep swearing to me I need to buy either the 7001 or 8001. Knowing I do mostly good size residentals I decided to go with the BR 600 just because theres more dealers for Stihl around here. The dealer that has the redmax wont let me try one out... Is the 8001 quiet for a 2 cycle? Thanks

I use Stihl equipment except for back pack blowers. I like and trust Redmax better in that area.

Gotta love redmax blowers. Their trimmers are another story but they are great too. I have a eb7001 and want to get a ebz 7001 or 8001 when my echo dies.

The 8000 series rocks, a bit heavy but it's the blower my guys grab first.

thanks, I paid 575 with tax. I think it was like 520 without tax. I found them on the net for 485 but I like to buy at a dealer. It would be close on the net after tax and shipping.
