I was just at my dealer, dropping off the mower for a slight oil leak in the back.
Service manager guy just got back from Kubota training at corporate and said "funny, we just learned about this".
Turns out Kubota was using a bad gasket and such around the crankshaft.
Take it in, they pull the crankshaft and put a new wear sleeve on it.
Get it done quick though, it's time consuming.
