Looking at partly dissasembled mower for $900. Owner promises all ok and will work when motor reinstalled
He has 3 in use so he should know. Anybody used one? Did you like it? Did it cut well?
it has a 60 inch deck.I'm a mechanic and just completely rebuilt a similar scagg for my boss
so I understand what Ide be gettin into.Is it worth the work?How moch was it new
and when was it new?

I would have to say, it depends on how disassembled it is. (?) What motor is with it? And of course, this begs the question, why is it all torn apart in the FIRST place? If it was repaired, then it seems like it would have got reassembled. How old is it? You can probably find one all together and in good running shape fot about that. I don't know, the question runs through my head again...Why is it all tore apart to beGIN with? lex talione.

Motor was off to fix a loose exhaust manifold mounting.
Other than that it looks complete.Needs new seat ,cables fuel hoses.
I believe all he told me cause he was pretty loaded when I nocked on his door
