thanks for the info, dont know if i should expect problems at that many hours or if it will be reliable, I have a scotts 25 hp 48 inch cut and would be changing to the zt-219 my property is fairly bumpy but i have been told that the bobcat will be a better ride

I'm going to be buying a Bobcat in about a week. I've used one before, and they are tough and durable. I know a guy that has one, which I've used before, that has over 2,800hrs on it. That one should be fine with 1,000 or so hours. How much is the guy asking?

I bought a Bob-Cat 218 last year with just under 1000 hrs on it. They are very nice mowers and very durable. I bought mine for about $3800.

Bobcat is great, you wont be let down. They have recently been bought by CGC (commercial grounds care, aka little wonder) and are adding many great innovations. They are truly great products at good prices.

Cheers

Be careful with a Z on hills! They have been known to tip.

I was totaly sold on the bobcat dealer said he wouldnt go below $2800.00 I thought this was a good price but on the way up to negotiate I recieved a call from a friend. I ended up buying a ex-mark with a 21 kawi 48 inch cut and the ultra vac fully service with spare belts and lots of blades for 3000.00and it only has 900 hrs, I couldnt refuse. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for there comments and help.

I like the Bobcat mowers a bit more then my Exmark but Exmark makes a good machine as well! Best of luck with it!
