I see the 1000 seems to be the most popular mower blade balancer but the 1000G and GC are offered at a little more $$.
Is the 1000G worth doing on mower blades or are they for different balancing applications? I want a very good balancer but will go with the most practical of the two.

If you only intend on balancing lawn mower blades, the MAG-1000 will completely take care of your needs. It is the standard for the lawn care industry and has been since we invented it in 1958.
The MAG-1000G and MAG-1000GC are more accurate variants of the MAG-1000. Their applications are intended for items spinning at higher RPMs or that weigh more than lawn mower blades. Such as flywheels, fan blades, circular saw blades, impellers etc.
Both the MAG-1000G and MAG-1000GC have more accurate (sensitive) bearings, but the MAG-1000GC has a carbide support shaft, to resist deflection of heavier parts.
We have customers that use "Gold Edition" balancers for only their lawn mower blades, and there is nothing wrong with that either. Some people just like having the "best of the best."
