Business miles are probably about 10-12k, but then add a trip to Colorado, and other misc. driving and I'm up around 20k for the year.

around 18 to 20K. it doesn't help that i live around 20 miles out of town. high gas prices and alot of driving isn't a good combination.

I never put more than 3,000 a year on my work trucks just for mowing lawns. My dump truck never got more than 1500 miles in a year. my personal vehical gets about 9,000 miles per year.

The truck, last year 8500 but before 10-12...
The cars, between both (not each) 3-4 maybe 5.

I just don't get to drive as much as I used to anymore, I can't afford it.
And it ain't really funny but given the choice I'll laugh.

I just added a front air dam and a couple of partial radiator covers, that seems to have bumped the mpg by 3-4 percent.
So I'm finally up to 12 mpg in the truck, but 12 over 10 don't fill the tank either way, it helps thou...

Between 5000 to 5500 per year for mowing work. It's too much. I really should make my geographic area much tighter, but now I have well-established relations with all my customers. Everybody pays. Nobody complains. And it's so low stress. So I've decided to make no changes.

It is far too much traveling though. If I were to start over, I definitely would have a tighter area.

6-7K a year.

What I find interesting is how many miles people are driving for personal use! It's one thing if you have a job to commute to. But you must be some social butterflies to get out that much. Around here a grocery store, hardware store, restaurants, etc are all within about 5 miles...and I live in the country with cows and horses surrounding my property. I drove another 12,000 personal miles/yr myself the last few years but I had a situation where I was driving out of the state a couple times a month.

I probably travel about 5000 miles each year for mowing but total around 10000 for everything.

I live about 20 miles out of town and average about once around the world, per year give or take a few countries depending on rain make ups and how many times it snows.
