did you guys ever pitch or grade gentle,,,,like a 1% or 2% grade and if so what way did you grade to???i am having drainage probs......

Baseball or softball, either way I would suggest sloping from pither's rubber to the outside edges of the skinned areas. In baseball the rubber is raised 10 inches above grade, so your actual slope will begin at the edge of the skinned area and slope towards the base paths. Use the smallest grade change that will so help move water. It would be helpful if you were able to install drain lines that parallel home to first and home to third.

It's a 2 degree slope from home plate to the outfield. About the easiest way to build up your infield would be to top dress it a little heavier than your outfield.
