Read This: No more read this

Hello -

Would it be possible to put a lifespan on some of those 'read this' threads? I think there are 6 of them right now at the top of the landscaping page. I'm starting to treat them like pop-up windows and instructions for assembly....I just ignore them.

Maybe if there were fewer, with shorter duration, everyone would read 'em promptly.

Just my thoughts.

You're definitely right. I found myself doing the same thing on the commercial forum. I continue to scan the subject to see if something new had been added, but a lot of the times, a read me thread stays for a long time.

Having a time span on a stuck thread is a good idea. :)

LOL! I was just thinking the same thing yesterday when there was more "read this" posts than actual posts in the landscape forum!

Good Idea, because like Stonehenge said, when there is something new, we won't notice it.
