good.... you and your dad have got one of the nicest set ups here on lawnsite.... The trailer is nice, however.... ditch the plastic on the floor , and spend the extra $ for a line-x or other rubberized floor coating..... look for a post of mine in a few days, I'll show the inside of my 8x20 with a product called herculiner on the floor . It was applied before a mower ever went in it . Other than that ... I look forward to seeing you one day when my co goes nationwide...... lol jk Take care man keep the pics coming !

kreft
04-09-2008, 06:53 AM
I like the triton deck better becuase it cuts, and disperses the grass better than the ultracut. but thats my dads, i use the ultracut. but i still think its the better machine.

oh, exmark is the only way to go...

Kreft, did your dad install the track on the floor of the trailer or did they come equipped with it? They hold thos exmarks from moving around without any problems?

kreft
04-09-2008, 10:01 PM
the tracks was a option from haulmark, it holds the ztrs fine they do slide a bit, but nothing major.

have you ever run a machine besides a exmark i have owned scag exmark and wright stander i have replaced 4 spindles on a exmark with 1800 hours and a grand total of none on 11 scags with thousands and thousands of hours just my thoughts but i would not say exmark is the only way to go nice machine yes but i would like to see what you think after some heavy hours have been put on thoose mowers for me personally with the amout of hours we put on machines and the fact that its a worker not a owner riding them you just cant beat a turf tiger

kreft
05-06-2008, 08:25 PM
we screwed 3/4'' plywood to the studs and then we screwed the racks to the plywood.

the echos are 260's and a 261 I cant remember what model blowers though, but i will get back to you.

Kudos Exmark! I use them too, but it would be nice if the spindles were greaseable.

Hold up, I remember you saying in a recent thread that you only do 1 account. Were you being sarcastic? Cause thats a lot of stuff for one account.

As for sulkys, go with the Wright Velke. If you want to spend a little more for a better product, get the eXmark Stand-On.

I agree the only problem that I have with my exmark is grease fittings very few!!!! They cut great! I have 1100 hour have replace 3 caster wheel bearings, one spindle, and just recent my Alt, starter, and battery. One belt in the last 1100 so i bet it is about time.!! LOL Had a few problems with my radiator fan but i think i have it right now. Great looking rig!

What about those pro slides?

They are VERY pricey, and look like they could rip up the grass. Just go with a wheeled sulky.

Hey, if your dad is interested I have a Velke X-2 for sale, basically brand new, I used it on a couple lawns and never used the mower again, now have sold the mower and need to sell the velke. It's scag orange though, lol. My mower was yellow, it was as close as I could get.

Only problem is shipping. They straight rape you as an individual trying to ship something.

Is it exmark red?

Well, no Exmark dealers around here, they cut like CRAP here. But anyway, no, I don't have access to exmark red paint, but I'm sure an exmark dealer sells it.
